China’s one-child policy led to my adoption — and a more privileged life

An article published in the Washington Post by Ricki Mudd, a Chinese adoptee relinquished by her birth parents in favor of her younger brother.  In an ironic twist, the older sister and her adoptive family in the U.S. host and support the younger brother when he comes to the U.S. to start college.
